Born and raised in the lush, vibrant landscapes of Vietnam, Trung Nguyen’s floral artistry is deeply rooted in his homeland’s wild tropical gardens and natural beauty. Surrounded by rich flora from an early age, he developed a profound appreciation for the textures, colors, and rhythms of nature that continue to inspire his work today.

Drawing on this heritage, Trung merges the organic abundance of Vietnam’s native gardens with classical European floral techniques learned through rigorous training at the Floral Design Institute. This unique blend of influences informs his signature style—one that celebrates the harmony between untamed natural beauty and sophisticated design.

Trung’s journey from the tropical gardens of his childhood to becoming a sought-after floral designer in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland is marked by dedication, creativity, and an unyielding passion to craft floral experiences that feel both timeless and intimately connected to place.

With nearly 10 years of experience in the creative field at one of Southeast Asia’s leading multinational technology corporations, Thinh Doan developed a strong foundation in Art Direction, with a particular interest in imagery, aesthetics, and the way an idea is transformed into an experience.

After many years in a corporate environment, flowers gradually became an important part of his creative journey. In floral design, Thinh discovered a natural convergence of color, form, material, and space, as well as a distinctive way to convey emotion.

WD Florist Vietnam grew from a love of flowers and a desire to bring floral design closer to contemporary life. For Thinh Doan, every floral creation is an opportunity to explore beauty, tell a story, and leave a distinctive impression.
